Annalina Christern

Having grown up under the sun in Botswana and South Africa, being active and playing sport came very naturally to me. At a young age I represented Botswana in cricket and swimming as well as playing a variety of other sports growing up. 

I went to boarding school in Pretoria, South Africa before finishing a BSc (Human life sciences) degree at Stellenbosch university. With an interest in physiotherapy I came to the Netherlands in 2013 to start my physiotherapy studies.

After graduating in 2017 I have worked with a wide range of patient groups, most significantly since 2018 being involved with Netherlands cricket squads providing physiotherapy and S&C services.

I love learning about the body and interacting with people from all walks of life. I’ve been very lucky travelling around the world, although nowadays I’m fortunate to have my wife and 2 children (Jonathan, 5, & Clara, 2) wanting to keep me home.
